When you stay at City Living Schøller, you can choose when, where and how you wish to have your breakfast. With the kitchen facilities in the room, or in the shared kitchen, you can prepare your morning specials just like you would at home. A grocery shop is found nearby, so shopping is no problem. If you prefer to be served, the optins are plentyful. Close to the hotel there are several cafés that serve fresh breads, coffee and juice.
Kaffebrenneriet in Trondheim is 100 meters from the hotel. Opening hour are weekdays from 7 AM Saturdays at 9 AM and Sundays at 10 AM. This is a good spot to start the day. In a low key atmosphere you can watch as the locals wake up and hastily passes down Nordre gate. In our own unofficial rating, Kaffebrenneriet serves the best cortado in town. If you don’t have the time to sit down, you can always ask for a take away.
Godt Brød have several shop in the larger Norwegian towns, and are well renowned for their solid handwork in the bakery, and all goods are based on ecological ingredients. Their shop is also close to the hotel. At Godt Brød you can ask for a bread roll and customise it with toppings of your own choice.
Quality Hotel Augustin is our partnering hotel if you’d like a proper hotel breakfast. A two minutes’ walk across Trondheim Square takes you there. City Living guest pay only 110 NOK (as of October 2014) per person for a full buffet. Here you will find cut fruits, assorted meats and cheese, assorted breads, cereals, milk and yoghurts, coffee and tea. Some of the items are ecological. You can sit as long as you'd like, and eat as much as you'd like. Opening hours are 7 AM – 10 AM Monday through Saturday and Sundays 8 AM – 11 AM.
